M: Rovey! Are you in Australia at the mo?

R: Hello lovely! I’m currently in Los Angeles in the Uniting States of the Americas.
It’s telling me you’re typing(tweeterview.com). This is so weird but cool. Like sex…I guess.

M: Sex is weird but cool? You’ve been in La La Land too long.

R: So I’m told. I’ve been here long enough to have been to Disneyland 3 times, so too long sounds about right.

M: Eaten anything amazing? Like a meatball the size of your head?

R: Yes! I ordered a 36-inch pizza the other day. It arrived in a 4WD delivery van. Ate it with 2 other people. Took us 24 hrs.

M: Did you wash it down with one of those 44 gallon drums of coke?

R: Got a free 1.5L Diet Coke to go with it. Diet Coke – because they obviously thought we wanted to watch our calorie intake.

M: I think 1.5 litres of metamucil might be more helpful.

R: My stomach ached as if to say “Why do you hate me so much?”

M: You are so buff now Rovey, like srsly. Workin’ on your fitness Fergie style?

R: Fergie as in “show me the cash and you touch the Prince” Fergie? Or “I gotta feelin’ I’m a bee” Fergie?

M: Haha, the rich one.

R: I try to exercise 6 days a week then give myself 1 day off to eat like a Roman and drink like Mel Gibson.

M: Do you catch up with Mel when you’re in town, you know, for some drinks and prayers and hyper-ventilating good times?

R: We hang out, drink and then prank call is wife. It’s really funny stuff. Hope no-one finds out about it.

M: As if anyone’s interested in how Mel spends his down time. It’s all about his work. What’s your work situation at the mo babe? Keepin’ busy?

R: I’m doing little bits ‘n’ pieces when asked on other peoples’ shows and stand-up gigs but mainly enjoying some down time.

M: I live vicariously through your travel What cool animals have you seen/touched lately? Apart from Mel.

R: I seriously had a skunk in my backyard last night! We also get deer, coyote,hummingbirds, squirrels and a bobcat. But I swear I haven’t touched any of them!

M: Skunks aren’t real Rove, they’re only in fraternity movies.

R: Tasma and I also just got back from a trip to the Amazon. That was quite special.

M: What’s your animal charity again? Was the Amazon trip for them?

R: Fauna and Flora International (FFI) @FaunaFloraInt . They are the world’s oldest conservation organization.
Yep, the Amazon trip was to check out one of their projects.

M: Can we have a go of your travels for them on a website?

R: The website is www.fauna-flora.org. We stayed at a place called the Cristalino Jungle Lodge. It’s remote but tourists can go

M: Last one. Are you ever coming home?

R: I hope so, I think I left the gas on. ZING!

M: We miss you. Luckily the magazines have people following your every alfresco meal. See you soon on our TVs I hope.

R: I’m sure it’s not the last everyone will see of me (sorry). Oz is still home. Miss it a lot, despite the tiny pizzas. Miss you too, you know! xxx
