Give Stuff

So we all know the Salvos and Vinnies will take our old clothes and furniture, but I reckon I’ve come up with some options you may not have considered donating.

Magazines and Books

If you, like me, buy a lot of magazines you might consider donating them when you’re done rather than binning them.  Any Vet or Doctor’s surgery, in fact anywhere with a waiting room will love them.   How about the local children’s hospital for the mums?

Blood

We all mean to, very few of us ever get around to it.  I myself have never done it, but hope to rectify that shortly as I received 2 units of blood after my twins were born and felt quite guilty to be making a withdrawal from a bank into which I’ve never deposited.

Organs

I’m not kidding.  Maybe, like me, you think it’s a great idea but never seem to get around to doing anything about it.  The Donate Life will give you the info to make it happen and help you feel great (and a bit superior) every time the subject comes up for the rest of your life.

Sperm Donation

Still not kidding.  Having dealt with fertility issues myself and triumphed with IVF twins, I know the pain of infertility.  This program offers lots of options including anonymity.  I know it sounds mental, but just think about it.
